SAEM22 in New Orleans is in the books and was a massive success! Our first in-person conference in three years was the best attended meeting in our society's history. As co-chair of the scientific subcommittee, Dr. Greineder helped select all of the ~1,000 abstracts presented as e-posters, lightning orals, oral presentations, and in the plenary session. He also helped to run the Grant Writing Workshop and the first ever NIH Program Officer Event, in which junior faculty met one-on-one with POs from one of 4 institutes (NHLBI, NIA, NIDA, NINDS) or the NSF to discuss their careers and ideas for grant proposals.
